As we re-look at systems within the game, there is one aspect that we haven’t touched in a while, and those are the Augments. As new Augments and new gameplay systems make their way into the game, the older Augments need some attention, and so the team has been assessing what we have and how they can possibly change.

It should be noted that some Augments are tied to abilities that see very little use (such as Pool of Life), however, these will be looked at later on when those same abilities are considered for a rework. For now, this Workshop only covers Augments that we felt we could improve fairly without major overhauls of the base ability as well. They are 'Augments', after all! 

This Dev Workshop is to go over the various Augments we are looking at and our considered changes to each one. So, without further ado, let's take a look at what is under the microscope! Keep in mind, all changes here are impacted by other ...

IN SERIOUSNESS THOUGH, third party hardware (as long as it has no software that alters games files) should be fine, as hardware is really designed to be interchangeable and different on the PC. I would love to see someone play Warframe with an old-school console Light Gun though.

We have seen a few requests lately, specifically requesting that we provide a list of software that we do and do not allow to run in conjunction with Warframe. While it is understood that some software is good and others are inherently bad or designed to assist cheating, there are some cases where software falls in gray areas.

The reason for this post is to have an updated reference about our policy on external, third-party software, and the potential pitfalls of using such software in conjunction with Warframe.

The simple, golden rule is this;

If you use external software in conjunction with Warframe, then you do so at your own risk.

Moderation mostly requires context. For some statements, context is irrelevant and that is where the bot comes in. As stated by several people in this thread, if you wish to avoid getting flushed, kicked or banned, maintain your discourse in a civil manner. What you may find a joke might be considered inappropriate as outlined in our Code of Conduct.

Saying that, if you have an issue with the way you are moderated, then I suggest you refer to your support ticket (as you said you have opened one).

So for some clarity here:

This thread is a place for you to provide feedback and have discussion about Wisp and her powers, looks, etc. That is something that we encourage, positive or negative, but it needs to be constructive.

Being constructive does not cover insulting other players, acting in a way that violates the forum rules, or generally being uncivil. If you want to have a discussion, then have a discussion, but do it in a way that treats other players with respect. This goes for everyone.

You may disagree with changes or one another, but that is no reason to insult other players or resort to name-calling.
